We were called to an urgent assembly at the hall in the middle of our lesson. How strange. Must say, it wasn’t a nice experience at all. The atmosphere was so gloomy, the silence so eerie. Yeah, and then principal spoke, her voice shivery. A schoolmate of ours was gone. Not too long ago, just yesterday. I couldn’t believe if what I heard was true, ’cause it seemed so far far away from me. Though I don’t really know who she is, but the feeling that she’s there every morning assembly just that few columns away, very much within my sight, is so real. I might have seen her before, somewhere, some time, in the college. And now she’s gone, quick as a snap of the fingers. Isn’t that scary? PW lecture was postponed. Her class, or should say, her former class wasn’t there for PE this morning. I-Space, so visible from almost every corner of the college, was occupied with grief this time; I was never exposed to the frightening reality of death like that. As an NYJCian, I’m deeply saddened at the loss of a schoolmate…
Yesterday’s CT period was used by the VP to talk about our Mid Year performance =X Lolz.. at the rate we’re going, 300 over people will be retained. Then there was this honour’s roll.. hahaz. Even with Zhi Liang’s already unreachable results (it seems) he wasn’t listed!! OMG.. now I realise there are so many smart brains around.
My parents saw Mrs Tay for the first time today to collect my result slip. Not that the grades were bad (enough), it’s the parent’s day. Overall remarks wasn’t much of a disaster, as usual? hahaz. Having Oinks and Elephants and Donkeys and Cows ain’t at all nice. I’d better do something about it.
Hmm.. and you’re back yah? How nice to know that =) I haven’t been online lately too, since there’s not much meaning coming here without you.. *oops!* Well, anyways hope you have had loads of fun over at raffles marina and.. rest well!! Till we meet agan…

I’ve made the first step to a better chinese grade!! ^_^ Got myself several chinese novels yesterday at the library. Didn’t expect it to be so painful even to scan for an appetizing read. Most of them were written in the older chinese characters which I can’t understand. If not, then the contents’ either too boring or that it’s not within my ability of undertsanding; You know those funny yellow-skinned writers have funny ideas that I don’t seem to catch. So I got to make do with what I thought’s the best in the among the worst- a collection of classical san wen and a romance novel. Though the novel is in fan ti, the romance is sure to be a great motivation for me to finish it!
Oh mann.. find myself loaded again. Not with money, but with stuff to be completed. It’s never going to end..=X Have got assignments due next with. Have got Harry’s 6th year at hogwards to read about. Have got my romance novel. Have got PW deadlines. Oh yah, and daily pull-up trainings. Hope I don’t go crazy.. Hahz.. to think I still have the time to rot in front of the com to blog..=P KKx it’s back to my PW now. cIaOz!

Didn’t have the time to blog so I posted a couple of personality test results instead. Thought “The Real You” was really fascinating, so you guys ought to give it a try.
Had only an econs lecture, a physics one, and chinese tutorial then we were released! And it was more than 3 hours of break before the listening comprehension. Headed straight down to the basketball court for a game. Tha ball? Proudly sponsored by Bin =D Darn it’s been ages since I even stepped onto a basketball court. So guys, please pardon me for the really stone figure who didn’t know what to do with the ball. I promise I’ll be more enthu next time! Besides, I was simply too busy enjoying that fine weather then – I just love cloudy days!! Sadly it rained soon after. The heavy rain drenched our idea of eating out. We had no choice but to make do with the canteen food, for the last time. Since all the J1s were released by then, the whole college was packed with people every single corner. Being the smarter ones, we dominated one of the empty air conditioned tutorial rooms. Can you imagine? The five of us with such a spatial lounge to ourselves XD What paradise mann. Sheng Li (who dozed off soon after)decided to PS for his dynamics(2) tutorial. The four of us left, not knowing what better to do other than doing assignments, sat pondering. It was long that we got into a solid 2 hours of brain teasers hahaz. Merrick was certainly the joke of the day–the only one who couldn’t solve that one puzzle. Seeing he was so tensed up, we threatened to reveal the answer only after the LC.. wahaha. Damn evil. We come to realise that it wasn’t necessary cos he still couldn’t get it even with the answers.. Lolz.. funny guy.
Hahaz.. I was jumping with joy after receiving your message yesterday night. Though it was just a short and simple reminder, it means a lot to me =) Thanks for giving me such an overwhelming confidence for this afternoon’s LC..^_^

Unbelievably accurate..

The Real You
Here is the analysis:
1. You are a very serious person. You tend to be quiet and well behaved, and you don’t have a great deal of self-confidence. You prefer to be alone rather than with friends and that could make you a little less interesting to certain types of guys. You are very attractive in an individual kind of way, and this means it can take people a little while to get to like you.
2. You really care about other people’s feelings and are quite serious about the issues that affect your life. You are sincere, and your concern for the well-being of others makes many people want to be your friend.
3. You strictly follow rules, and you expect other people to be the same as well. People can get tired of you easily, as you can make them feel a little guilty about themselves. You always make decisions on your own, and can be dismissive of other people’s advice. You like to be the leader in groups, but can forget to be concerned about the people you are with.
4. Girls see you as being a thinker and a careful person. They will be really attracted to this quality in you, but you need to learn to speak your mind, otherwise people will find you too shy and quiet. Learn to relax and lighten up–it’s okay to have fun sometimes. When you learn to develop your fun-loving side, girls are going to flock to your side.
5. Your girlfriend believes that you are a strong and independent person. Your confidence and cheerfulness make you an attractive person to be around, but sometimes you need to pay more attention to what other people, including your girlfriend, are thinking.

Argghh. Why is Singapore so left out in international events!? Is it because it’s too small to be significant? Or is it because it simply can’t be bothered, huh? If it should be the latter one, then I think credit to a selfish culture that’s breeding right here should go to the government. Singapore is so ‘anti-social’. To think it’s called a gloal and cosmopolitan city with a vibrant and multiracial culture and heritage, Singapore doesn’t even appear on UNESCO’s non-represented nations list. The career prospects of working for it seem promising. But even the thought of trying to apply for a job there is dashed =X
It was compulsory to attend the Student Council Investiture on wednesday so we went. Overall, compared to PRCS’, it was great! As always, Mrs Ho (our principal) bowed before any of her imprtant speeches, which never fail to tickle. It’s nice of her to do that though. How many principals are that polite nowadays? I’m quite confident to say, there’re none. Guest of honour was a senior from the first batch, who’s currently high up the hierachy in the Army. The hand-over ceremony was truly style. And the Nanyang spirit was really high in the air. It was a fascinating experience, like that of Harry Potter’s? hahaz..
Suppose you’re happy to see the grades. Well at least it’s something you hoped for. I’m happy for you too!! hahaz. Thanks for making my day =D Guess when our luck combine, it can really work wonders xP
Times without you seem really empty; “Absence makes a heart grow fonder” is exceptionally true. Nearly a year since we got united by fate, yah? Hopefully it’ll bring us a bit closer in the future, in the real world where we’re, as friends. I look forward to that.

Let’s see how i fared for the mid years: 1D7, 1AO, 1E, 1D, 2Cs. Wao.. Now I realise why my grades can’t fly, though they’re pretty colourful. Don’t you think so? ha ha ha.
Today’s Chinese AO oral was sick. The reading passage almost drove me nuts at the first sight of it. I think it did you know. Cos I was sniggering away during the five minutes of preparation. Oh well, I’m done for for my chinese this time. The conversation wasn’t as easy too. And the two examiners were smiling away throughout the conversation. I see it’s more of a smirk. How evil can they be to an innocent little boy who wants nothing more than to pass his mother tongue so that he can get his peace of it for the rest of his life..

Hahaz.. no words can possiby describe my joy in seeing you again. Yes, tonight we met again!! =D Simply elated. It’s absolutely no exaggeration to say it’s far beyond that. You know, it feels so good talking to you again… really. To meet with you online, that’s all I’d dreamt of for the past weeks. Ahaz.. thank you for making my dreams ever so sweet tonight.. and the many many nights to come too =)

Got this from someone’s blog..
“hey faster go http://www.live8live.com/list/ add your name to the list to stop poverty. they no need your money..just need your name.”
Not very difficult isn’t it? If giving your name is all it takes to change the lives of many, why not?
It’s been a disturbing two and a half weeks without you..
I really miss you..

Below’s something I came across in NYJC’s intranet.. Hahaz.
Hi to all students.
During this exam period, we think some of you might be force-fed Brands’ Essence of Chicken by your parents.
If you are one of those undergoing such treatment, please save the empty bottles with the caps. We need about 30 (empty) bottles with caps.
Purpose: Chemistry Practical – energetics!
How to donate:
1. Wash the bottle and cap. Leave to dry.
2. Pass the bottle and cap to your tutor or lab technician anytime in Term 3.
Note:
It must be Brands’ brand of chicken of essence, no others (yes, we are that brand conscious for this experiment).
The caps are necessary for the experiment.
Thank you.
