We were all baffled in disbelief. this morning, I went to work, rushing against time as usual, only to find nice mr lee saying there won’t be much things for us today, that we will even be released early. truth is, there wasn’t anything for us, except to fill up the time sheet and for him to authorise in order for us to get our pay. can you believe this!? i couldn’t possibly have, if it had not been a personal encounter. it’s too generous to be true..! kz.. so we left, with a full day’s pay in no exchange of any labour, for brunch at Han’s again. went over to peninsula plaza to submit some papers and… voila! home by noon.
I mean really, where else in the world will you ever find a superior who doesn’t mind you coming late, release you more than an hour early without compromising your pay, consistantly gives you breaks, share your labour, treat you to rochers and oranges, and am more than happy to offer you more than you ought to deserve!?
T o a certain extent, i did feel extremely lousy and socially inferior doing this job, but i guess i also gained a lot of insight too from the robot work (haha somehow or other) and the fellows working with me, namely gerald and derrick. thought they made me see the society from a totally different angle altogther.
Was revisiting the old acoutistic guitar that has been abandoned at some corners, determined to master tears in heaven, only to be reminded of the reason why i’d chucked it away before.. most prolly gonna get a new one. mean a 2nd hand one.
well It’s valentine’s day.. not for me. i’m valentine-less. haha. admittedly, it feels sick seeing lovey doveys roaming around, or, is it that they are all my eyes would bother looking at. like some guy was saying over the radio, “吃不到葡萄说葡萄酸。” whatever it is.. i don’t feel particulary empty inside although i know that to some tinny winny extent i’m actually lying. LOL. but there’s really no need to okies? i should just enjoy the bachelor days whilst i can. ha ha how optimistic. whatever. ^^
here’s wishing all you romancing doveys everlasting blossom in your mutual affection till the end of the world and beyond. as for those who’ve been trying hard to win over her/his heart, well, gambatte nee! =)
